Faculty and graduate students from the Department of Botany welcomes Japanese researchers, including Prof. Dr. Tokitaka Oyama (Kyoto University) and Dr. Tomoaki Muranaka (Nagoya University). We worked together under the research collaboration funded byร SATREPS and JICA to develop a project titled, “Development of duckweed and associated microbial resource values towards Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economy.”
During this trip the researchers explored the diversity of duckweed species in natural settings in Thailand and demonstrated genotyping techniques for duckweed species.
