Congratulations to Associate Professor Dr.Chatchai Ngernsangsarauy for being awarded as “Outstanding Science Teacher – University Level” in 2019 from The Science Society of Thailand Under the Patronage of His Majesty the Kingใ

Dr.Ngernsangsarauy is an expert in plant taxonomy and diversity. He has been teaching here at Department of Botany since 2000 and continuing to produce a number of books, textbooks, and publication of new species to science.

Department of Botany, Kasetsart University welcomes our newest instructor, Dr.Pornsawan Sutthinon to our department on March 12, 2019.

Dr.Sutthinon earned her Ph.D. in Biology from Prince Songkhla University, Thailand in 2018, where she worked on her dissertation titled,  “Developmental Features during Gametophyte Formation in Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L.) และ related species (Garcinia celebica L.).

At Botany @ Kasetsart, she will be teaching and conducting research on Plant Anatomy and Morphogenesis, as well as other related fields.

Assistant Professor Dr.Chatchai Ngernsangsarauy from the Department of Botany was featured in the Dailynews on October 4, 2018 on the topic of “Colors of Nature at the Last Rain: Wildflowers Welcoming the Winter.” In the article, he highlighted some of the most beautiful flowers during this season change.
